This fiery azure feline's temper is just about as hot as the flames it can inflict upon it's victims. Once a Manauri bleeds a target and mana touches the victim's blood, they're engulfed in burning blue flames until they're reduced into a smoldering pile of ash. Manauri love the flames, though. So much so, in fact, that once a Manauri consumes a corpse, they burst into flames that RAPIDLY heal a Manauri of all damage - so, take on a Manauri in combat WITH EXTREME CAUTION; If you engage while they're engulfed in flames, you will be in for one of the hardest fights of your life!
But the real question: How does one acquire a Manauri? Well, they're not a creature some random Beach Bob can obtain. Once you hit level 95, THEN the fun begins.
- First thing is first: OBTAIN MANA. Whether by sneakily picking up Mana that's... uh... "dropped" by a Manauri OR by killing a Manauri. Mana is a Manauri's ONLY food source
- Once you have a few Mana to your name (and, hopefully by THIS point you've already at LEAST beat one of the Gamma bosses so you can get some Element), it's then time to craft some Mana Repellant. Consuming this will make you virtually invisible to a Manauri. Manauri are wildly aggressive, but are ALSO passive tames.
Once you have your own Manauri, you have a real force to be reckoned with - you ALSO have another way to produce Mana. The stomach of a Manauri will convert 10 of any raw meat source to a single piece of Mana which the Manauri can then consume as food OR you can use it to make your own Manauri Saddle, make more Mana Repellant, make a Mana Refinery which is basically a miniature Tek Replicator that can be unlocked WITHOUT beating any bosses (though, like I said before... you have to get Element somehow haha).
In the future, there MAY be additional resources AND... potential player armor/s... Release for THOSE is TBD
