This mod was made mainly so I could add some music to the game. Because of copyright restrictions I had to use music I have the rights to, so instead of some background elevator music, the radio plays a bunch of music I wrote and had AI voice and create to listen to myself. I also made a few little skits to make it feel like a real radio station. If you check out my radio, I hope you like the tunes.
Warning: there is a LOT of adult language in this mod. The music is flavorful.
I'm not trying to advertise my music or sell a certain sound. I just wanted to make the radio a useful item and give myself, and whoever else likes it, some music to ARK out with.
How it works
Craft the DP Radio for 1 Thatch and keep it anywhere in your inventory. No equipment slot, no power, no tower. Use it to tune in. Every radio on the server plays the same live station: 14 songs, with a skit after every two. Players near you hear your radio coming from you, getting louder as they walk up. Headphone Mode is private listening, songs only, with Play/Pause, Next, Previous and Shuffle. Nobody else hears it. The controls are on your wheel under DP Radio, with Mute right next to it.
