Starter Loot

The Starter Loot mod provides new players with essential items to kickstart their Ark experience.

The Starter Loot mod provides new players with essential items to kickstart their Ark experience. Upon joining the game, players will automatically receive two key items: the Survivalist Crate and the Dino Summon Potion. These items are designed to give players immediate access to resources and a creature companion, helping them get through the early stages of the game.

Survivalist Crate: The Survivalist Crate is a simple, functional item designed to provide players with the bare minimum to get started.

Customizable Loot via GameUserIni Settings: Server administrators can customize the contents of the Survivalist Crate via the Ini settings. This allows admins to modify the items, quantities, and even add additional items to the crate.

Example Command Prompt:

[StarterLoot]

Loot=Blueprint'/Game/PrimalEarth/CoreBlueprints/Weapons/PrimalItem_WeaponMetalHatchet.PrimalItem_WeaponMetalHatchet 1 1 0,Blueprint'/Game/PrimalEarth/CoreBlueprints/Weapons/PrimalItem_WeaponMetalPick.PrimalItem_WeaponMetalPick 1 1 0

The numbers determine the quantity, quality and blueprint respectively.

Dino Summon Potion: The Dino Summon Potion is a consumable that allows the player to summon a creature to aid them in the beginning of their play through.

Customizable Creature Summon and Specific Stats via GameUserSettings: Server administrators can configure the creature summoned by the potion, including which creature is summoned, its level, and various stats like health, stamina, and melee points. These settings can be modified through the ini settings to suit server needs.

Option to Give Random Creature: Admins can enable a random creature summon feature, where a creature from a specified list will be randomly summoned. This provides variety and randomness to the early experience.

Option to Add Random Creature Blacklist: Administrators can also specify a blacklist in the ini settings to exclude certain creatures from being summoned, giving more control over the potential summons.

Example Command Prompt:

[DinoSummonPotion]
