Ascendants Ark - Tame Mod

A simple mod for our Server.

(Designed for PvE servers — not recommended for PvP) This mod introduces a variety of new features tailored for taming and breeding, designed to enhance your Ark PvE experience. Here's what's included so far:

Tame Bench

  • A custom crafting station, the Tame Bench, exclusively for crafting items and resources added by this mod.
  • Also acts as a Pestle and Mortar. (Fixed Pestle not giving default items.)

Knock Out

  • Berry Arrows: Crafted with fibre, thatch, flint, and Narcoberries.
  • Narcotic Arrows: Crafted with fibre, thatch, flint, and narcotics.
  • Alternate Narcotic Arrows: Convert Default Tranq Arrows to Tm Narc Arrows.
  • Bow and Crossbow: Specifically made for the new arrows.
  • Crossbow: Capable of firing underwater.

Craftable Spoiled Meat

Spoiled Meat Recipes:

  • Raw Meat and Narcoberry,
  • Raw Fish Meat and Narcoberry.

Reusables

  • Reusable Grappling Hook.
  • Reusable Bola.
  • Reusable Parachute.

(Element items like Congealed Gas will come in an update with a new structure) Appliances

Super Aircon

  • Super Aircon: The Super Aircon is double the range of a standard air conditioner with 10x the insulating power. Perfect for keeping bases comfortably cool and capable of incubating Most if Not ALL Fertilized Eggs.

Kibble

  • Imprint Kibble: A special consumable that provides 100% imprinting on any dino when force-fed during the baby stage.
  • Alpha Kibble: This is used for taming our custom Creatures.

Alpha Saddles

  • TM-Alpha T-Rex Saddle, A custom saddle for the T-Alpha Rex.
  • TM-Alpha Carno Saddle, A custom saddle for the T-Alpha Carnotaurus.
  • TM-Alpha Raptor Saddle, A custom saddle for the T-Alpha Raptor.

Tameable, Breedable Variants

Alpha Rex Variant

  • A tamable and breedable T-Alpha Rex, designed for advanced gameplay:

    • Taming Method: Standard knockout taming, but requires Alpha Kibble crafted at the Tame Bench.
    • Diet: Prefers raw meat post-tame but will also eat prime meat. WARNING!! Will eat Alpha Kibble after tame with no benefit.
    • Breeding: Gestation-based breeding with a default gestation time of 50 minutes.
    • Class Name: AlphaRexTM_Character_BP_C.

Alpha Carno Variant

  • A tamable and breedable T-Alpha Carnotaurus, designed for advanced gameplay:

    • Taming Method: Standard knockout taming, but requires Alpha Kibble crafted at the Tame Bench.
    • Diet: Prefers raw meat post-tame but will also eat prime meat. WARNING!! Will eat Alpha Kibble after tame with no benefit.
    • Breeding: Gestation-based breeding with a default gestation time of 50 minutes.
    • Class Name: AlphaCarnoTM_Character_BP_C.

Alpha Raptor Variant

  • A tamable and breedable T-Alpha Raptor, designed for advanced gameplay:

    • Taming Method: Standard knockout taming, but requires Alpha Kibble crafted at the Tame Bench.

Tek Variants (Not Tested on Extinction - will probably add more than default spawns)

Start of the Element Update provides element dust for crafting Unstable Element

  • Tek Variants  - Trike, Stego, Quetzal, Giga, Rex, Raptor and Parasaur.

These are variants of default Dinos (Island/Center), Abberation Tek dinos will follow in another update.
