Parkour Race Event Mod Summary
Overview:
Challenge your agility and reflexes in this fast-paced parkour race! Players will compete in exciting 5-7 minute rounds throughout the day, racing against each other to claim victory and their well-deserved prizes.
Game Mechanics:
- Player Requirements: Minimum of 1 player to start, no maximum.
- Event Duration: Each round lasts 5-7 minutes.
- Minimum Time To Next Round: ~30 seconds.
- Total Playtime: Each contestant’s full experience lasts approximately 7 minutes per round.
Gameplay Experience:
- Lobby Exploration: Before starting, players can explore the lobby area and preview all parkour obstacles. Players can also equip the special Nitraduck skin if they don’t already have it.
- Starting the Event: Once enough players gather, one player can press the “Event Start” button in the lobby’s center.
- All players receive a 15-second prompt to opt into or out of the event. AFK players are auto-declined.
- Players who opt in are teleported to the starting line.
- Race Mechanics:
- A 3-second countdown begins before the race starts, with the starting area’s barrier lifting upon the timer’s end.
- If a player falls into lava beyond knee depth, they are automatically disqualified and returned to the lobby, Touching the lava sets you on fire but does not disqualify you.
- Players must reach the finish line to submit their details for prizes. The round resets for all other participants afterward.
Event Design Notes:
- Obstacles: Designed to push players back but never deal damage or kill them.
- Player Support: Health, food, and water regenerate automatically. Fall damage is disabled for uninterrupted gameplay.
- Failure Conditions:
- Falling into lava.
- Another player completing the course first.
- Being overtaken by the moving retainer wall.
