Taming Method: Passive tame using Mashed Bugs (crafted in a Mortar and Pestle)
Preferred Food (after taming): Berries
Hands-on Interaction: Can be picked up and carried
Injury Behavior: If attacked, it will drop its tail and flee, which regrows after 10 minutes (with a cool scar detail)
Breeding: Fully breedable for a whole squad of colorful companions!
💥 Magna Gecko Abilities Tail Lure Mechanic: The Magna Gecko’s tail can be used to lure nearby wild creatures. When on your shoulder, you can force it to drop its tail via the multi-use wheel, which makes you immune to aggro for 20 seconds.
Tail Farming: Use a metal hatchet on your tamed gecko to harvest its tail manually. It regrows every 10 minutes, making it perfect for taming traps or diversions.
Weight Reduction: Magna Geckos offer inventory weight reduction on certain carried items — making them surprisingly useful for travel and gathering.
Auto Resource Transfer: Use the multi-use wheel to instantly pull nearby dropped resources into the gecko’s inventory — perfect for efficient harvesting or cleanup after a big battle.
