Chetu's Tools

Adds new tools, structures, elixirs, etc. to enhance your gameplay. Includes Dino Pick Up, reusable bola, cryo, and more!

My personal policy is "Play your way" this mod is designed with that in mind. It is designed to be tuned to your liking and preference to allow it to work in nearly any gameplay scenario with the most important thing in mind, HAVE FUN! Hope you enjoy the mod!

Structures

CT Spoil and Crafter

  • A structure that is used to craft all mod items.
  • Can also craft Cementing Paste for half the cost and at a greater speed.
  • Quickly spoils any meat you place in it:
    • 1:1 Raw Meats -> Spoil Meat
    • 1:3 for Raw Prime Meats -> Spoiled Meat
  • Converts organic polymer to polymer at a 2:1 rate (2 organic polymer to 1 polymer)
  • Creates CT Super Fertilizer with two methods:
    • Method 1: 4 Feces, 5 Spoiled Meat, 100 Thatch
    • Method 2: 2 Fertilizer and 3 Spoiled Meat
  • CT Super Fertilizer will automatically push to crop plots. Can be disabled from Radial Wheel, on by default.
  • Can be used to craft the seeds for growing your resource plants from the mod
  • Can convert metal ingots, crystal, polymer, and oil to Element.
    • The default cost is high for balancing reasons.
  • Can convert feces into sulfur.

CT Greenhouse Metal Structures

  • A complete set of Greenhouse structures using the normal assets but changed to match the default metal durability (metal instead of stone strength) and health.

CT Magic Water Mushroom

  • A giant mushroom which functions as a water source and can be placed anywhere for your crops and drinking/tap needs.

CT Capture Ball Storage

  • A vault for your Capture Balls only, empty or filled.
  • Indestructible (except for being destroyed by the wheel, of course).
  • Default storage space 10 (so not overpowered in PvP)
  • Storage can be configured via ini settings between 5 and 30000.

CT Bee Hive

  • Create your own Bee Hive to generate honey in your base.
  • Requires rare flowers.
  • Default consumption is 3 minutes per rare flower.
  • Generates 3 honey every 3 minutes to average out at 1 per minute.
    • This can be configured to generate faster or slower via the ini settings.

CT Beer Barrel

  • Improved Beer Barrel, has more slots and doubles the default crafting speed.
  • Crafting speed can be further increased via ini settings.

CT Tek Generator

  • Modified Tek Generator which does not take element to craft and uses oil to generate power.
  • Default consumption speed is 1 oil per 30 minutes.

CT Freezer

  • A better refrigerator!
  • Extends the spoil time of everything by 10x more than the normal fridge.
  • Should work on everything that can spoil, including nameless venom and wyvern milk.
  • Same durability as metal structures.
  • Has 2000 slots.

CT Charcoal Maker

  • A box that converts your wood to charcoal very quickly.

CT Large Crop Plot

  • Highly improved Crop Plot
  • Has more slots
  • Up to 700% Greenhouse Effect.
  • 1/4th the size of a large crop plot.
  • Snaps to foundations so 4 can fit on a single foundation.
  • Stackable.
  • Doubles the maximum number of fruits a crop can generate before being collected.

CT Egg Incubator

  • An Egg Incubator with 30 slots!

CT Vault

  • 1000 slots by default. (Configurable by INI settings)
  • Half the cost of the base game vault.
  • 1/2 the size of the base game vault.
  • Unlockable at level 30.

CT Industrial Forge

  • Double the output and slots of the base game vault (40 metal per craft time and 500 slots).
  • Can use wood as fuel.
  • Wood burning time is 60 seconds by default. It will produce charcoal from the wood after it is burned.
  • Can use charcoal as fuel.
  • Charcoal burning time is 30 seconds by default.
  • 1/4 the size of the base game industrial forge.
  • Unlockable at level 35.

CT Tek Replicator

  • A small Tek Replicator. 1/4th the size of the base game replicator.

CT Map and Key Storage

  • A chest that increases the spoil time of maps and keys by 10x.

CT Tek Barrier

  • A shield generator which can use the TekGen for power or Element.
  • 50% smaller structure than base game Shield/Forcefield.
  • Powers up in 5 seconds instead of 5 minutes.
  • More scaling options. Increases at 0.1 or 0.5 radius up to the same maximum as the base game.

CT Reincarnater

  • A structure that allows you to resurrect your dinos from their Death Essence.
  • Places resurrected dino into a capture ball.
  • 1 hour cooldown
  • Prevents Death Essence from expiring so you can save your dinos for later if you don't want to resurrect it yet or have multiple to resurrect.
  • 10 slots.

CT Cloner

  • A structure that allows you to clone your dino from a capture ball.
  • Gives you a cloned dino in a capture ball.
  • 24 hour cooldown.
  • Costs 1 element per level by default, configurable via INI option.

Farming

CT Large Crop Plot

  • Highly improved Crop Plot
  • Has more slots
  • Up to 700% Greenhouse Effect.
  • 1/4th the size of a large crop plot.
  • Snaps to foundations so 4 can fit on a single foundation.
  • Stackable.
  • Doubles the maximum number of fruits a crop can generate before being collected.

  • Craftable seeds which can "grow" your resources in a crop plot!

CT Super Fertilizer

  • Crafts in the Spoil and Crafter in half the time as base game fertilizer.
  • Two crafting methods:
    • Method 1: 4 Feces, 5 Spoiled Meat, 100 Thatch
    • Method 2: 2 Fertilizer and 3 Spoiled Meat
  • Provides more than double the power of the base game fertilizer!
  • This cannot be manually added to a base game crop plot through the inventory menu (game limitation), but you can press the "E"/Activate button to add it in the crop plot if there is room.
  • Will be automatically deposited in crop plots from the Spoil and Crafter.

Tools

Bonus Hatchet

100% of normal damage (default) and 250% higher harvesting than a normal hatchet. Configurable damage.

Bonus Pick

62.5% lower damage (default) and 250% higher harvesting than a normal pick, has a chance to get various rare resources when hitting metal/rich metal nodes. Currently bonus resources are element shards, element, crystal, and silica pearls with chances ranging from 0.1-5% depending on the general rarity of the resource. Configurable damage.

Bonus Sickle

126% higher damage (default) and 250% higher harvesting than a normal sickle. Behaves like a hatchet when harvesting non-plants. Harvests berries and fiber from plants and has a chance to get various rare resources while gathering from plants. Currently bonus resources are vegetables, angler gel, cementing paste, black pearls, silica pearls, oil, and sap with chances ranging from 1-5% depending on the general rarity of the resource. Configurable damage.

CT Bola

A reusable bola that also works on large dinos like a chain bola.

CT Tranq Bola

A reusable bola that also works on large dinos like a chain bola and applies initial and torpor over time (configurable amount).

Capture Ball -- Basically a Cryopod but enhanced

Lower capture time than Cryopods, no durability/timer. No need for a Cryo Fridge. No cryo sickness, cooldown, or nerf.

Pick Up Tool

Fixed on dedicated servers! Can be used in a dino's inventory to allow them to be picked up through the radial wheel, does not need to remain in their inventory. Unfortunately this will also change the default option from ride/equip a saddle to tracking options, this seems to be an issue with the base game but I will continue looking into it in case there is a way to fix it.

Elixirs

Taming and Breeding

Taming Elixir

  • Gives maximum torpor and drains food from dino when force fed in inventory.

Wake Up Elixir

  • Removes all torpor from a dino and wakes it up.
  • Can also be used to remove knock-out from cryo sickness.

Quick Mating Elixir

  • Makes any female dino able to mate again instantly.
  • 30 minute cooldown.

Quick Mating Cheat Elixir

  • Same as Quick Mating Elixir but ignores the cooldown.
  • Only accessible through admin commands.

Imprinting Elixir

  • Use on a baby dino to make the imprint 100%.

Dino Mind Wipe Elixir

  • Wipes Dino level ups.
  • Wipes Harvesting Levels on Therizinosaur and Moschops

Dino Repellant

  • Prevents dinos from attacking you.

Gender Change Elixir

  • Will change a male dino to a female dino or a female dino to a male dino.

Mutagen Elixir

  • Applies Mutagen Buff.

Re-Imprinting Elixir

  • Use on an adult dino to give it full imprinting.
  • Can be used to change the imprinter.

Super Taming Food

  • Instantly tames any knock-out tamable dino.
  • Force feed in inventory.
  • Must be enabled through INI setting.

Baby Mutating Elixir

  • Gives a 100% chance for babies to be mutated.

Dino Super Growth Formula

  • Instantly makes any baby dino an adult.

XP Potions

Small XP Potion

  • Gives XP to consumer.

2x XP Potion

  • Gives a buff providing double XP gain.

Medium XP Potion

  • Gives XP to consumer.

3x XP Potion

  • Gives a buff providing triple XP gain.

Large XP Potion

  • Gives XP to consumer.

5x XP Potion

  • Gives a buff providing quintuple XP gain.

Max XP Potion

  • Instantly makes the consumer max level.

Healing Elixirs

Small Healing Potion

  • Instantly heals 500 health by default.
  • Will heal your dino if used while riding.
  • Can be auto-consumed by your dino when in their inventory and their health gets low.
  • INI configurable healing amount.

Medium Healing Potion

  • Instantly heals 1000 health by default.
  • Will heal your dino if used while riding.
  • Can be auto-consumed by your dino when in their inventory and their health gets low.
  • INI configurable healing amount.

Large Healing Potion

  • Instantly heals 2500 health by default.
  • Will heal your dino if used while riding.
  • Can be auto-consumed by your dino when in their inventory and their health gets low.
  • INI configurable healing amount.

Extra Large Healing Potion

  • Instantly heals 5000 health by default.
  • Will heal your dino if used while riding.
  • Can be auto-consumed by your dino when in their inventory and their health gets low.
  • INI configurable healing amount.

Max Healing Potion

  • Instantly heals to maximum.
  • Will heal your dino if used while riding.

Other Elixirs/Consumables

Super Food

  • Instantly gives maximum food to your dino.

Engram Unlocker

  • Unlocks all engrams.
  • Can unlock Tek Engrams with INI option.

Engram Reset

  • Resets all your engrams without touching your stats.

Breathing Elixir

  • Prevents hypothermia and allows you to breathe underwater, a stronger Lazarus Chowder.
  • For use while swimming.

Crafting Elixir

  • Increases your crafting speed by 10x.

Super Stim

  • Gives the user unlimited stamina for 2 minutes.
  • Uses on dino when riding.
  • Massively increases stamina drain for 1 minute after.

Flight Elixir

  • Allows you to fly when consumed.
  • Default duration is 3 minutes, can be configured through INI option.
  • Must be enabled through INI option on PvP servers.

GCM Elixir

  • Gives creative mode when consumed.
  • Default duration is 3 minutes, can be configured through INI option.
  • Must be enabled through INI option.

Tranq Arrows

Tranquilizer arrows in stronger variants: 2x, 4x, 10x, 20x, 50x, 100x. The 2x and 4x are direct cost increases from the normal tranquilizer arrows in terms of Narcotic costs, the higher ones require double the amount of narcotics by default. Can be crafted in your inventory or in the Spoil and Crafter. These have a 50% chance to break vs the normal tranquilizer arrows of 10% but return one step down instead of just stone arrows, so a 4x arrow will return a 2x arrow if it did not break and a 100x arrow will return a 50x arrow if it did not break. Can be used in the normal bow, crossbow, or compound bow.

Ascender

This allows you to ascend your character on any map and at all tiers! Default crafting is the requirements for summoning the boss at the tier you want. For Rockwell Prime (Genesis 2) you will need element (50/100/150 depending on tier) and mutagen (6/12/24 depending on tier). You can also craft the unlock for explorer notes (50 element and 6 notes). Lastly you can craft to add a max level to your Chibi (50 element and 1 Alpha Raptor Claw). Note: The Explorer Notes unlock will not persist through death or server restart currently, any levels gained into the additional levels will remain. This may be a hard limitation due to the unlock requiring all explorer notes and the server data resetting the value since not all notes are truly unlocked and giving notes to a player in bulk can cause crashes.

Resources

Blackberries, Blueberries, and Raspberries

Custom modded berries which are used for the kibble recipes (below), the new flight elixir, and gcm elixir. Can be harvested with the CT Sickle or farmed in crop plots.

Kibble Paste

A new resource made from dinosaur eggs. Used in the Spoil and Crafter with various amounts of paste and Blackberries, Blueberries, and Raspberries to make kibble for taming!
