Hello and welcome to kibble reborn, the mod that revives the old kibble system from Ark. Here I'm starting with a new version of my old mod with a cleaner and better-designed folder to support devkit updates.
What the mod does: it removes the game's default kibble system and replaces it completely with my kibble system, which was active in the early days of Ark (old-timers will remember this system). For example, to tame a Pteranodon, you used to have to make a Dodo kibble; you know the kind you need. And yes, that means long hours of farming and building to create a farm :D
The mutton will be replaced by a mutton that will have the same effectiveness as raw prime, because with the old kibble system mutton didn't exist, so to stay as close as possible to my mod I'm reducing it
For the new dinos that arrived after the old kibble system and therefore never had a kibble associated with them, I'm simply going to invent them while still staying within the mod's logic, and sometimes I can be harsh with certain kibbles for certain dinos :D.
A link will be available later with the command to spawn the dinos, as well as the kibble associated with the dino.
Some dinos, like the Acrocanthosaurus, won't have a kibble at the moment because I don't know why, but as soon as I modify it, the dino becomes invisible in the game. So I'll do some tests later to continue finding out what's wrong.
Just so you know, if you ever see a dino without its own kibble, it's either bugged as soon as I modify it, or it could be an oversight. The bionic dinos will also be added later, as well as those from Gen 1 and Gen 2. Before that, I want all the vanilla dinos to be operational.
Yes, it's recommended to play this mod on a map where all the dinos are present, because a map like Aberration or Scorched Earth could cause some problems in the dino chain for eggs, or having a cluster is even better. Personally, that's what we do.
I hope you have fun with the mod. Keep in mind that starting this mod will take time if you want to tame everything, and it will require quite a bit of space. So, I wish you lots of fun with the mod, and I'll leave the comments open in case you encounter any problems or bugs.
Currently under development, it has been released for server testing; please do not install it at this time.
