Whimsical Farming is a complete medieval farming overhaul that rewrites the crop and harvesting system. It adds new seeds, tools, crops, and a dynamic quality system where every plant can reach a quality from 0 to 100. Crop quality depends on seasons, biomes, nearby crops, fertilizers, and harvesting methods, making farming more strategic and rewarding. You will start with low quality harvests and progressively learn how to grow rare, high quality crops that unlock better meals, recipes, and bonuses.

New tools :

- Shovel : Used to carefully remove a Whimsical Crop from its plot, allowing you to collect or relocate the planted seed without damaging the soil.

- Hoe : Used to prepare Whimsical Crop Plots and work fertilizer into the soil, helping improve the conditions for growing higher-quality crops.

- Sickle : Harvest your crops with precision without destroying the plant, allowing you to continue cultivating and improving it over time.

New Structures :

- Whimsical Crop Plot : The foundation of your farm. Plant Whimsical Seeds here and nurture them as they grow, with each crop's quality influenced by its surroundings and the care you provide.

- Cooking Table : A specialized workstation for preparing Whimsical Recipes. Combine your finest harvests to create unique meals with powerful effects and bonuses.

- Bee Hive : A valuable addition to any garden. Bees help improve the quality of nearby crops, making the hive an essential part of a thriving and high-quality farm.

Custom Recipes & Quality-Based Bonuses :

When making Whimsical Recipes, the main ingredient determines the recipe type, additional ingredients enhance it. Depending on the quality of your recipe, you will receive different buffs and bonuses.

Recipes can be : Simple Food, Simple Water, Meal, Energy Meal, Robust Meal, Cold Meal & Hot Meal.

Within each recipe type, recipe quality determines the bonuses and effects you can unlock. The better the quality of your ingredients and the recipe itself, the better the rewards!

- Custom Harvesting System :

The harvesting system has been completely reworked to support the mod's quality system, seasonal progression, and custom settings. Create the perfect farmland to grow and harvest high-quality crops. Choose the best seeds, use the right fertilizers, plant during the correct seasons, find the ideal biomes, and make use of the bee system to maximize your crop quality. Every choice matters when growing the perfect harvest.
