Enhydriodon is a highly specialized and adaptive semi-aquatic predator.
Once fully grown, these creatures become extremely aggressive, which is why only young Enhydriodons can be tamed.

The longer a young Enhydriodon stays with its rider, the more trust it builds and the stronger it becomes.

Once full trust is reached, it can be grown into its adult form.
The adult Enhydriodon is stronger, keeps the improved abilities of its younger stage, and will gain additional mechanics.

Additionally, adult Enhydriodons will later be able to evolve into different specialized variants by being fed specific items.

Important:
Currently only the Young Enhydriodon is fully implemented.
The adult version already exists and is stronger, mainly to prevent the taming method from being too easy.

🌍 Spawns

• Spawns in Swamps and InlandWaters
• Always spawns in a group
• Each group contains at least one adult Enhydriodon

🐾 Taming

• Passive tame
• Only Young Enhydriodons can be tamed
• They request different items during taming
• Can ask for all types of meat, raw or cooked

🦦 Young Enhydriodon

A flexible early game mount with strong bonding progression and water-focused utility.

⚔️ Attacks

Primary Attack - Bite
Secondary Attack - Claw Swipe

Attack Utility

• Can gather silica pearls with its attacks

🧬 Buffs & Features 

Bonding Buff

• Improves over time the longer you stay together and makes your Enhydriodon 20% stronger at full stage

Love to Swim

• Faster movement speed, better health regeneration
• Ends when no longer touching water

Wet Fur

• Activates after leaving water
• Lasts 180 seconds
• Grants fire immunity

Protected

• While Love to Swim or Wet Fur is active, the rider also becomes immune to fire

Fishing Expert

• Killing small fish grants a buff
• Increases damage against fish

Visual Differences

• Smaller, shorter claws, smaller teeth and bigger eyes than the adult version

🦦 Adult Enhydriodon

The adult version already exists but is currently mostly a stronger follow-up stage (currently carno stats)

More mechanics and abilities will be added and refined over time.
