🦦 Feras Vanilla Edits: Enhydriodon

Enhydriodon is a highly specialized semi-aquatic predator built around progression, bonding, fish hunting, and evolution.

Unlike most creatures, you don't tame the final creature directly. Instead, you tame a Young Enhydriodon, build trust over time, and eventually evolve it into its adult form.

Adult Enhydriodons can then be evolved further into special Genesis variants, each adapted to a different Genesis biome with its own combat style, utility, and passive abilities.

Only Young Enhydriodons can be tamed.

• Takes only 60% damage from fish
• Killing fish grants a temporary hunting buff

• Deal only 50% damage to Enhydriodon

Larger adult-only fish targets:

• Take 2x damage from Enhydriodon
• Deal 70% damage to Enhydriodon

Additional valid adult targets include:

• Reduces aggro range of Sarcos

The Snow Enhydriodon's thick winter fur protects its rider from the cold while mounted.

• At 30 stacks, the next hit deals a powerful burst of damage

• Claw Swipe applies Scolded
• Scolded damages targets over time and reduces movement speed

⚫ Pearl Specialist

• Improved Black Pearl harvesting
• Bite and Claw Swipe can harvest pearls

While in its native regions, the Volcanic Enhydriodon gains:

Treats can be fed to evolve a young Enhydriodon into an adult one or adult ones into one of the different Genesis variants.
