Enhydriodon is a highly specialized and adaptive semi-aquatic predator.

Unlike most creatures, Enhydriodon follows a progression system where you tame and bond with a Young Enhydriodon, raise its trust over time, and eventually evolve it into its adult form.

The adult Enhydriodon gains improved abilities, stronger stats, and access to future specialized variants.

🌍 Spawns

Young Enhydriodon

• Spawns in Swamps and Inland Waters

• Always spawns in groups

• Each group contains at least one adult Enhydriodon

Young Aberrant Enhydriodon

• Spawns near rivers and water sections throughout the Fertile Region on Aberration

🐾 Taming

Only Young Enhydriodons can be tamed.

• Passive tame

• They request different items during taming

• Can ask for all types of meat, raw or cooked

A flexible early-game mount designed around bonding, swimming, and fish hunting.

• Can gather Silica Pearls with its attacks

🧬 Buffs & Features

Bonding Buff

• Improves over time the longer you stay together

• Up to 20% stronger at maximum bond level

Love to Swim

• Increased movement speed

• Improved health regeneration

• Ends when no longer touching water

Wet Fur

• Activates after leaving water

• Lasts 180 seconds

• Grants fire immunity

Protected

• While Love to Swim or Wet Fur is active, the rider also becomes immune to fire

Fishing Expert

• Deals 2x damage against valid fish targets

• Takes only 60% damage from valid fish targets

• Killing fish grants a temporary hunting buff

Progression

• Rideable at Level 12

• Raptor-tier mount

• Smaller claws, smaller teeth, and larger eyes than the adult version

Includes everything the normal Young Enhydriodon can do plus:

• Aberrant glow

• +6% damage

• -4% health

An aggressive semi-aquatic predator focused on fish hunting, mobility, and utility.

• Takes only 50% damage from valid fish targets

• Megalodon

• Angler

• Electrophorus

• Helicoprion

• Various modded fish species

Crocodile Friend

• Reduces aggro range of Sarcos

• Reduces aggro range of Deinosuchus

Utility

• Can use weapons while mounted

• Consumes 20% less oxygen than the Young version

• Carno-tier creature

Includes everything the normal Enhydriodon can do plus:

• Aberrant glow

• Radiation immunity

• Deals 3x damage to Nameless

• Takes only 50% damage from Nameless

Used to evolve a Young Enhydriodon into an Enhydriodon.

Recipe:

• 10 Raw Prime Fish Meat

• 10 Black Pearls

• 10 Sap

• 10 Chitin

Aberrant Enhydriodon Treat

Used to evolve a Young Aberrant Enhydriodon into an Aberrant Enhydriodon.

Recipe:

• 10 Raw Prime Fish Meat

• 10 Black Pearls

• 10 Blue Gems

• 5 Nameless Venom

⚠️ Warning: Using evolution treats currently resets the bonding rider bonus.
