Designed to Fit Seamlessly with Vanilla Structures
All pieces in Stories in Glass are designed to match vanilla structure sizes, allowing them to integrate cleanly into existing builds without awkward scaling or gaps. These skins can be used intentionally as windows, accent panels, or decorative wall pieces, making them versatile across both practical and artistic builds.
The glass mosaics are framed with bold lead lines, giving each piece a handcrafted stained-glass feel while remaining readable and clean at ARK’s scale.
Soft Light & Subtle Glow
Opaque sections of the glass emit a gentle, ambient glow, designed to imitate light shining from behind the glass rather than harsh illumination. This creates a cozy, storybook effect—especially at night or in low-light interiors—without overpowering nearby structures.
The glow is meant to feel atmospheric, not mechanical, enhancing mood while preserving immersion.
How to Use
Open your inventory and navigate to the Custom Cosmetic tab
Select Apply Cosmetics
Locate the Stories in Glass folder
If the folder does not appear, you may need to respawn your character
Drag the tileset to your hotbar and activate it to enter skinning mode
Apply the skins to compatible structures to create windows, feature walls, or decorative glass accents
⚠️ Note: This is a cosmetic-only mod. It adds no new engrams or buildable structures and is fully compatible with existing saves and servers.

Stories in Glass is designed as a growing set. Additional designs, motifs, and glass stories may be added over time, expanding the visual language while staying consistent with the original style.
