M-BioShift introduces a new breed of red-black ARK creatures with enhanced stats, unique abilities, and quality-of-life improvements. Each creature has been biologically “shifted” to provide new gameplay variety while retaining its original core identity. Expect frequent additions as the project grows!

🐌 M-Achatina

  • Passively produces Cementing Paste (toggleable ON/OFF)

🐙 M-Angler

  • Increased Stamina & Weight
  • Weight reduction on Silica Pearls & Black Pearls
  • Can harvest Black Pearls
  • Can swim backwards

⛏️ M-Ankylo

  • Smelts Metal automatically in its inventory (toggleable ON/OFF)
  • Weight reduction on Metal Ingots, Scrap Metal, Wood, Thatch, Stone, Flint & Berries
  • Much faster and can jump

🌲 M-Archa

  • Passively produces Sap (toggleable ON/OFF)

🐢 M-Archelon

  • 50% faster
  • Produces Algae much quicker

🦅 M-Argentavis

  • Can fly backwards
  • 30% faster than vanilla
  • Strong weight reduction on Metal, Ingots, Obsidian, Crystal & Stone

🦬 M-Bison

  • Slightly larger
  • Can harvest Stone & Metal
  • Produces Milk faster
  • Nearby babies request Milk for imprinting more often

🦖 M-Carcha

  • Cooks Meat automatically in its inventory
  • Much higher Weight & weight reduction on all Meat types

🦫 M-Castoroides

  • 50% faster than vanilla
  • Can jump
  • Massive weight reduction on Wood, Fiber, Thatch, Stone, Fungal Wood & Berries

🐈 M-Cat

  • Knockout tame so every cat can be tamed
  • 30% larger than normal

🦏 M-Cerato

  • No special ability yet — just looks cooler in red & black

⚡ M-Cnidaria

  • 50% larger, 30% faster
  • Rideable and a knockout tame
  • Passively produces Biotoxin (toggleable ON/OFF)

🐷 M-Daeodon

  • Uses less Food while healing
  • 50% faster than vanilla

🐊 M-Deinosuchus

  • Already strong enough — just red & black style!

🐘 M-Deinotherium

  • Just a stylish red-and-black variant 🔥

🐻 M-Direbear

  • Much faster than vanilla
  • Passively produces Honey (toggleable ON/OFF)

🪨 M-Doedicurus

  • 2× faster than vanilla
  • Can jump, even while rolling
  • Better turning radius

🦕 M-Dreadnoughtus

  • Smaller, faster, and more Stamina
  • Less HP & Damage
  • Knockout tame, 5% chance to replace Bronto spawns

🦈 M-Dunkleo

  • Swims faster and can reverse swim
  • Higher Weight & Stamina

🐴 M-Equus

  • 30% faster than normal
  • Now wears a stylish hat

🦎 M-Fasolasuchus

  • 30% faster
  • Gains 500 Torpor from any rock — easier to knock out

🔥 M-Fire Wyvern

  • More Stamina & Weight
  • Better turn radius and can fly backwards

🦖 M-Giga

  • Rex-sized, slightly stronger
  • Usable in boss arenas
  • New tail swipe attack (right-click)
  • Can jump
  • Very rare spawn, replacing some Rexes

🪶 M-Gigantoraptor

  • Knockout tame – no more baby dancing!
  • Drops more feathers
  • Can jump higher and glide

🦅 M-Griffin

  • Flies backwards faster
  • Can carry up to 300 Drag Weight

🦈 M-Helicoprion

  • 50% faster movement speed
  • Much higher Blueprint success rate (cap 90%)

❄️ M-Ice Wyvern

  • More Stamina & Weight
  • Better turn radius and can fly backwards

🐦 M-Ichthyornis

  • Replaces 100% of vanilla spawns
  • No longer steals items

🦀 M-Karkinos

  • Wild ones no longer grab you

⚡ M-Lightning Wyvern

  • More Stamina & Weight
  • Better turn radius and can fly backwards

🦋 M-Lymantria

  • 50% faster than vanilla
  • Can fart much more frequently
  • Uses less stamina while doing so

🐴 M-Maeguana

  • 5% chance to replace Equus spawns — spawns on every map
  • Higher nursing range

🔥 M-Magmasaurus

  • 5% chance to replace Pyromane
  • Knockout tame
  • Saddle manually added
  • Taunt attack temporarily removed (not yet in DevKit)

🦗 M-Mantis

  • Much larger than vanilla
  • Harvests 3× more resources
  • Can jump and is a knockout tame
  • Intended as a Tek Stryder substitute

🦎 M-Megalania

  • 40% faster, even while climbing
  • Can jump and applies Thyla Bleed on auto-attack
  • Swims faster

🦈 M-Megalodon

  • 33% larger, 33% faster, 50% stronger bite

🦖 M-Megalosaurus

  • Never sleeps
  • Can jump, with more Stamina & Weight

🦖 M-Megaraptor

  • 10–20% more base damage
  • Replaces 5% of Carno spawns on all maps

🐻 M-Megatherium

  • Insect buff lasts 300 s (was 120 s)
  • 50% faster

🐋 M-Mosa

  • 30% smaller
  • Can swim backwards

🦏 M-Pachy

  • Same base stats as a Rex – finally boss-ready

🐀 M-Pegomastax

  • Replaces 100% of vanilla spawns
  • No longer steals items
  • Knockout tame for peaceful taming

🐖 M-Phiomia

  • Converts 5 Feces → 1 M-Fertilizer
  • M-Fertilizer lasts 4× longer
  • Must be manually placed into Crop Plots
  • 50% faster and can small-jump

🐟 M-Piranha

  • 0.5% chance to replace Megalodons
  • Deals as much damage as a Plesio
  • Immune to Jellyfish & Eels
  • Knockout tame, breedable, no saddle needed

☠️ M-Poison Wyvern

  • More Stamina & Weight
  • Better turn radius and can fly backwards

🦅 M-Pteranodon

  • Barrel roll (C-roll) costs less Stamina
  • Can use weapons while riding
  • No cooldown on barrel roll

🦊 M-Purlovia

  • Rideable, doesn’t stun players
  • High jump, applies Bleed on primary attack
  • Uses Thyla base stats

🦜 M-Quetzal

  • Smaller, but much faster

🦖 M-Raptor

  • 30% faster, more Stamina, and higher jump

🐺 M-Ravager

  • Can use weapons while riding

🦖 M-Rex

  • Smaller turn radius, more Stamina & Weight
  • Weight reduction on all Meats & Hide

  • Can mine Stone

  • Can jump higher and move backwards

  • Better gliding and reverse flight

🦖 M-Spino

  • Water buff lasts longer and is stronger

🦜 M-Tapejara

  • 70% faster, deals Bleed damage with every hit

  • Higher base Weight
  • Weight reduction on Hide, Raw/Prime Meat, Wood, Thatch, Fiber, Pelt
  • 20% faster

🦎 M-Thorny Dragon

  • Converts Wood → Charcoal
  • Weight reduction on Wood, Thatch, Fiber, Stone & Charcoal
  • 40% faster and can jump

🐅 M-Thyla

  • More HP & Damage
  • Faster movement speed

🦐 M-Trilobite

  • 50% larger, 70% faster
  • Knockout tame, rideable, breedable
  • Passively produces Oil (toggleable ON/OFF)

🦎 M-Troodon

  • Knockout tame, rideable, larger
  • Uses Allo base stats
  • Bleed attack with C-key

🦑 M-Tusoteuthis

  • 20% faster, better turn radius

🦖 M-Velo

  • More Stamina
  • Minigun mode uses less Stamina
  • Faster movement while firing
  • Spawns 10% replacing Velos, 5% replacing Thorny Dragons

🐋 M-Xipha

  • Swims backwards
  • Wild Xiphas don’t dismount you anymore

🐦 M-Yi Ling

  • Spawns on all maps (1% replacing Raptors, 10% replacing Yi Lings)
  • Jumps much higher than vanilla
  • Drops Plant Z when killed (used for taming)

🦖 M-Microraptor

  • Fully replaces all Microraptor spawns (100%)
  • No longer stuns you off your mount ⚡

🔥 M-Phoenix

  • Moves 50% faster than the vanilla Phoenix
  • Spawns with a 1% chance instead of Argentavis

🕊️ M-Pelagornis

  • Faster, with increased Stamina and Damage
  • Converts Organic Polymer into regular Polymer ⚙️
