Give your gardens a natural upgrade with lightweight, modular crop plots and a rustic scarecrow system — no greenhouse required.

🪵 Features 🟫 Dirt Crop Plots

  • Frame-free versions of the large crop plot, styled as natural dirt piles

  • Snaps cleanly to ceilings, foundations, and each other with no visual gaps

  • Functions identically to vanilla plots, but sleeker and simpler

Pitchfork

  • Use the new pitchfork to strike the ground to get Soil, and worms.
  • Soil & Worms used in crafting the plots
  • Worms are also fishing bait similar to honey.

🧑‍🌾 Scarecrow Structure

  • Applies a greenhouse effect to crop plots within range

  • Scans for nearby plots automatically

  • Causes dinos up to a certain size to flee if they come within range

  • Greenhouse effect and dino flee radius is adjustable via multiuse wheel menu.

  • Scan interval can be adjusted via ini file

  • Includes an optional visual emitter to show its active range (toggleable via Multi-Use menu)

🔧 INI Customization

You don't need this unless you want to change the default. The range default is 10 foundation diameter and the scan interval is 5 minutes. If you want to change this its all done under [DirtPlots]

Scan interval setting is ScarecrowInterval it expects a number of seconds like 300(5 minutes)

Greenhouse radius setting is ScarecrowRange it expects a number as well like 1500 (This is roughly 10 foundations)

What dinos do you want to flee? Just small one like the dodo(25 weight)? Keep your drag weight low or everything set it in the thousands. Use dododex or other sites to find drag weights and set this to your liking. MaxFleeWeight Default is 300 and includes Trike and Carno for reference

How far away should Dinos flee? Default it 5 seconds past the radius. If you want them to run further simply up the delay before the flee effect is cleared with FleeEndDelay

If you think there are any conflicting issues or crashes caused from this turn on debug mode and look at the logs. Debug=1

Example ini

Lets set the scarecrow greenhouse effect to do 20 foundation distance every 10 minutes. Scare off dinos of 550 drag weight or below and have them flee away 10 additional seconds after leaving the scarecrow radius.
