This mod adds a "Jackhammer" into the game that functions similarly to the chainsaw but for stone, metal, and other things that would make sense. This does not harvest wood or dead bodies. The idea and reason I made it is because I'd like to have an alternative to gathering resources that don't require a dino, especially if I were to play in no tame servers. Statistically its almost identical to the chainsaw, including harvesting rates. Which by default is 3.2.
This is my first mod ever and there's bound to be issues, I am learning how to use blender so eventually there will be a custom mesh for it to make it look like an actual jackhammer, but until I figure out how to do it, I will leave the standard chainsaw model in for now.
I plan to add in weight reduction like the mining drill, once I figure out how.
Also, for the time being, the "Jackhammer" will have infinite durability since there is no way to get a blueprint version to get a better one at the moment.
Here is a list of what it can gather:
Stone, Metal, Oil, Crystal, Aberration Gems, potentially element ore (but I haven't been able to test this yet.)
Technically it gathers flint too, but it's not very efficient. Think of it like a motorized hatchet. I will try to see if I can make a variant that's specifically good at getting flint.

Edit: To be transparent, I didnt realize my mod was as popular as it had gotten, so I didnt really bother checking on the page or think people would care. especially with the addition of the mining drill to the game. But I do want to let everyone know that I do intend on putting a 3d model on it eventually. I just havent been able to do that for some time, my pcs ram pooped out shortly after I published the mod and I can no longer run the mod tool or blender. Im a total blender noobie as well, but I was making progress before my ram went terminal. But thats why I havent even made updates to attempt to add it into the fabricator and other QOL things. I hope you guys understand, and thanks for downloading. Its cool that 12k people even wanted to check out something I made, even if it is a dinky little mod lol.
