Rent your server with Nitrado for quick Beacon Sentinel Assistant installation

Beacon Sentinel is a moderation platform for Ark Ascended servers. This mod allows your server to connect to Beacon Sentinel (or compatible services) to send game events and receive instructions.

No payment or subscription of any kind is necessary to make full use of this mod.

Config Options

All settings go under the [BeaconSentinel] header.

  • EndpointUrl: The WebSocket url (ws:// or wss://) to connect to. Optional. Defaults to Beacon Sentinel's server.
  • AccessKey: Will be sent as the Authorization: KEY {{AccessKey}} header alongside the WebSocket connection headers. Required, obtained from Beacon Sentinel.
  • StructureSearchRangeInFoundations: The range around players to search for structures to monitor for demolition. A larger range will produce better results, but needs more server processing power. Defaults to 6.66 foundations and is capped to no more than 33.3 foundations.

Player Opt Out

Players who wish to opt out of tracking by Beacon Sentinel can type the phrase 'sentinel opt out' into chat of any server monitored by Beacon Sentinel. Read more about the implications at https://help.usebeacon.app/sentinel/anonymousPlayers/.
