Quality Living expands the standard of life around your base by adding new structures and improving existing ones. Each structure is its own Engram, costs no Points to learn, and more importantly, does not replace any preexisting base game structures. You need only learn the base Engrams to learn the Quality versions.

Originally started to improve the single player experience a bit, the mod is now taking on some aspects of the abandoned QoL+ mod to share with the community. Not all features are available immediately and not all will make it over either. This will be at modder discretion – but your feedback is encouraged!

This mod has only been tested in single player. Let me know how it goes in multiplayer.

This is not a port of any mod; it is written from scratch. It's also my first mod.

New Structures

Bonfire - Unlocked at Level 25 and crafted in the player inventory. This is an upgrade to the Camping Fire. 15 slots and slightly faster crafter.
Handmill - Unlocked at level 33 and crafted in the player inventory. This is an upgrade to the Mortar and Pestle. 30 slots and slightly faster crafting.
Cauldron - Unlocked at Level 40 and crafted in the Smithy. This is an upgrade to the Cooking Pot. 50 slots, slightly faster crafting, and NO DYE for simpler auto crafting.

Updated Structures

All major structures have pin locking enabled.
Removed fuel requirements for the following:
- Standing Torch => Quality Standing Torch
- Wall Torch => Quality Wall Torch
Feeding Trough => Quality Feed Trough
- Increased range.
- Increased slots to 100.

Crop Plot => (Size) Quality Plot
- Increased slots to 15.
Storage Box => Quality Storage
- Increased slots to 30.
Large Storage Box => Large Quality Storage
- Increased slots to 75.
Compost Bin => Quality Compost Bin
- Increased slots to 20.
Smithy => Quality Smithy
- Increased slots to 100.
Preserving Bin => Quality Preserver
- Increased slots to 75.
Fabricator => Quality Fabricator
- Silenced.
Power Generator => Quality Power
- Silenced.
- Increased range.
Air Conditioner => Quality Air
- Increased range.
- Increased insulation power.
- Silenced.
Refrigerator => Quality Refrigerator
- Increased slots to 125.
Chemistry Bench => Quality Chemistry Bench
- Silenced.
