Pulse Arcana - Roleplay Classes and Magic Mod

Pulse Arcana

Pulse Arcana is a multi-mod project that aims to create a customizeable D&D experience in ASA Pulse Arcana. It is currently in the beta testing stage.

The Pulse Arcana: RP Classes and Magic mod is the first mod for the Pulse Arcana project. This mod breaks up Ark: Survival Ascended’s base items to be craftable and usable only by certain classes, as well as adding custom items, abilities and spells. The ability to craft and use these items and abilities is granted to the classes slowly as they level up. The definition of what items and abilities are available to each class is fully customizable by server Admins via an API integration between the server config files and a Google Sheet that can be specified by the admins.

Please note, this mod overrides the standard playerPawn and needs to be first on the list of Mods in the server. If it is not first, it may not work. The first time you load the Mod into your server you'll have to do a quick start up task to get the default class definitions loaded, you can follow these instructions to do so: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySMfuLD1R28

The base class definitions that the mod comes with can be found here in the sheet called "Default Class Definitions": https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1r1PUj8zZABn276LIuUVyWlxk4irJh8q1_xs96kUcY7k/edit?usp=sharing

In addition, the mod builds a similarly customizable magic/ability system, with mana stats for each class, spells that can damage, give buffs, place status effects on Dinos or players, or enhance mobility. The full list of spells and their effects as well as game.INI settings can be found in the same sheet above, in the sheet called "Magic and Spells Info"

Finally, the definitions of the Classes in this mod are extremely customizable using an integration with Google Sheets. You as a server Admin can completely change which items are assigned to which class at which level for your server. To do so, follow the instructions in the google doc above in the sheet named "Steps to Set your own Class Definitions"

At this time, this mod is about 90% completed. It was originally built for Ark:Survival Evolved and has been migrated to Ark: Survival Ascended. Anyone with feedback or interest in working on it please message us in our discord.
