Description
The mod is a work in progress I did a moderate testing for now it works as described but I will add future improvements and maybe editable configuration for moded dinos. This mod introduces a gameplay variation where traditional taming is disabled.
Instead of taming wild creatures, players must explore the world to discover fertilized eggs placed throughout the map. Hatch them, raise them from birth, and build your strength through long-term breeding progression.
All creatures hatched from these eggs start at level 1, regardless of species. Power must be earned through leveling, selective breeding, and mutations over time.
To enable egg spawns, craft and place the Red Flag spawn structure. Once placed, fertilized eggs will spawn every 3 minutes within a large radius(150-350m range) around the player (but never directly next to them) the eggs can spawn in the water as well for now.
Multiple spawners can be placed. Spawners deactivate when outside rendering distance.
The focus is on exploration, resource management, strategic breeding, and gradual progression in high-difficulty environments.
The spawner needs to be picked up and placed again on server restart this will be fixed in future update.
⚙ Server Configuration Notice
This mod is designed for custom challenge environments. For the intended experience, it is recommended to adjust server settings such as difficulty, experience rates, and creature stat scaling.
Since all hatched creatures start at level 1, progression relies heavily on leveling, breeding, and mutations. Default server settings may result in an experience that is either too easy or overly punishing.
