This is a fun project to upgrade The Island to the newest standards of ARK with the features listed below. This is a fully technical upgrade, no gameplay elements got changed. No new caves, resources, dinos, just THE ISLAND but in more polished.

Features:

• You can bring over your savegame from ASA The Island to this modded map
• All original content from ASA Island is available like caves, bosses & overseer with ascension
• Reworked Lighting System
• Reworked Rock materials
• Dino level distribution like on Astraeos/Ragnarok/...
• Snow Interaction from Lost Colony (Still WIP but planned!)
• The Volcano is now erupting in a random interval

HOW TO INSTALL THIS ON YOUR SERVER:

Nitrado Server:

• Install the "The Island Reforged" under Mods
• Start the Server once to make the mod download
• Shutdown server and change the "Mapname" to "Custom" and leave "Custom Mapname" EMPTY

For Rootservers:

• Add the mod ID into the launch arguments like: -MapModID=1460513

DISCLAIMER: There are still some bugs but nothing gamebreaking as far as I could see, the map is fully playable as the old island. Before you move over your savegame, DO A BACKUP.
