SciFi Portals adds walk-through ring portals to ARK, enabling instant travel between any linked gate on the map using unique portal addresses. Destinations are dialed via a nearby interface, and addresses can be identified through accessing the terminal or by direct visual inspection with a spyglass.
Designed with balance in mind, portals require both the ring and its interface terminal to be placed within reasonable proximity to function, preventing careless or abusive placement. The system is fully self-powered and does not rely on Tek Generators or having element/gasoline in the inventory.
Portals can transport players, tames, items, and even non-player objects — including wild creatures and thrown explosives — turning travel into a physical, tactical mechanic rather than a menu shortcut.
Knowledge cuts both ways. Portal addresses can be discovered, meaning a poorly secured portal may become an entry point for enemies. Build wisely, conceal carefully, and remember: every portal is a doorway — not all visitors arrive by invitation.

Crafting requirements
Requires survivor level 30. Portals and Terminals must be crafted in a Tek Replicator.
