Cataclysm 2.0 is a reboot of the original Cataclysm mod (which is EOL and is no longer being updated)

Alpha Stage - 100% Playable Play on Max Level 300

Cataclysm is a Dino overhaul mod with influence from our favorite Ark Dino mods of past and present. It’s the end of the world as an apocalypse has overtaken Ark, forcing only the strongest creatures to survive and thrive. Kibble and Tier based overhaul with Boss Challenges every 4 tiers. Mod involves killing and breeding for resources.

This overhaul starts off moderately difficult (Dodos do not hunt you down) - a great first kibble tamer overhaul. But be warned... later tiers become much harder and more of a grind.

Supports all latest DLC creatures in the mod already - Just make sure you have DLC enabled to use them! 285+ Dinos currently in the mod - 300+ more planned

Starting Guide:

  1. Play Normal Ark (build small shack collect resources)

  2. Kill Runt Dinos on foot

  3. Tame any Runt Dino using Vanilla taming mechanics (Tier 1)

  4. Use Runt Dino to kill Tidal Dinos

  5. Collect Runt Fluids and Resources from Runt Dino (leave them out)

  6. Craft Tame Helper

  7. Craft Compound Bow in Player Inventory (Level 30)

  8. Craft Arrow 30k (torpor arrows)

  9. Craft Tidal Kibble

  10. Tame Tidal Dinos (Tier 2)

  11. Kill Tidal and Rapid Dinos for loot

  12. Make Tidal Dino farm for Tidal Fluids

  13. Craft Rapid Kibble

  14. Craft Arrow 100k (torpor arrows)

  15. Tame Rapid Dinos (Tier 3)

  16. Farm for Rapid Fluids

  17. Kill Featherlight Avatar (Runt Avatar Featherlight) Collect Avatar Dust

  18. Craft Avatar Kibble

  19. Tame Featherlight Avatar

  20. Make Featherlight Avatar Essence farm (Featherlights drop them instead of poop)

  21. Craft Cyclonic Boss Summon (search Cyclonic)
