More Tamable Alphas – Test Mod
This mod is a test version of creatures from the original MoreTamableAlphas mod. You can find the link to the original version here
⚠️ I have been made aware some of the spawn are not working correctly so i am going to try and sort it in the next couple of updates. (The Alphas will be made VERY rare to spawn in the future!)
⚠️ Creatures that lay eggs to breed currently breed the base varients and not the alphas, i am slowly changing this.
Dino Variants & Their Abilities:
Tanky Dinos
- Heavily armored with increased health and weight capacity.
- Sleek metallic appearance but moves slower and deals slightly less damage.
Oily Dinos
- Coated in an oily sheen, allowing them to harvest oil 5x faster.
Sprinter Dinos
- Enhanced stamina and twice the speed of their regular counterparts.
Gatherer Dinos
- Increased health and weight with 15x berry gathering efficiency.
Shimmering Dinos
- Ethereal ghost-like appearance.
- Can harvest crystal 5x faster.
Miner Dinos
- Designed for heavy-duty excavation.
- Increased health and weight.
- Harvests metal 5x faster than normal.
Obsidious Dinos
- Hardened by extreme conditions.
- Increased health and weight.
- Harvests obsidian 5x faster than standard dinos.
Rocky Dinos
- Stone-like appearance.
- Increased health and weight.
- Harvests stone 5x faster.
Splintering Dinos
- Efficient thatch collectors.
- Increased health and weight.
- Gathers thatch 5x faster than normal.
Threshing Dinos ⚠️ This creature might be retired and fiber gathering may be added to "Gatherer" creatures instead.
- Specialized in fiber gathering.
- Increased health and weight.
- Collects fiber 5x faster.
Glacial ⚠️ NEW!
- Cryo Touch: Their attacks freeze enemies solid and immobilizing the target.
- Creatures maintain their original size and shape but have a frosty blue and white color palette, giving them an icy, frozen look. ⚠️- I will make all Glacial creatures spawn in cold biomes like the Snow Biome or near icy environments.
Narcovenator Dinos ⚠️ These creatures may be replaced with different ones in the future as i am working on making a standalone mod for these, that can be found here
- Infused with potent narcotic properties.
- Perfect for taming—each attack induces torpor, reducing the need for tranquilizer darts.
Tameable Alpha Dinos (Oathbound) ⚠️ These are still being worked on and some of them may still not be tameable.
- Formerly untamable apex predators can now be tamed and ridden!
- Retains high strength, resilience, and aggression.
- Now called "Oathbound" to differentiate them from wild Alpha variants.
- Powerful allies with boosted health and damage, but taming them is a challenge!

Known Issues & Future Plans:
- Tanky Rex currently has an vanilla black color instead of its intended skin.
- Threshing may be replaced with other creatures because they seem kind of pointless currently.
Upcoming Updates
- ✅ More dinos will be added for each variant.

- ✅ The particle effects haven't been attached directly to the creature so when they are knocked out it kind of just.. floates there.
- ✅ I may do a particle buff for the Swimmers.
- ✅ Replaced TreeFelling creatures with Glacial creaturees.
Access & Feedback
This mod is in early testing. While the remake of the original mod is mostly done, I still need to test some creatures and ensure they work properly before adding more.
⚠️ Because this mod is still in development, there may be bugs or unfinished features. Please be patient while I continue working on it.
