Faye’s Ascended Menagerie aims to immerse the player by adding new and polished creatures to the game that are helpful, balanced and fun. The core design principles are to stay true and respect the vanilla game while making improvements to the formula when necessary. Each addition is made to fit within the world of ARK, assuring that they fit seamlessly into your game.

Plateosaurus

Plateosaurus returns from ASE with a completely overhauled look and improved gameplay. You can find Plateosaurus roaming the jungles, grasslands, and deserts of every map. They’re common creatures and can be tamed relatively early in the game — but be careful! They may be herbivores, but they’ll fight back if threatened.

Once tamed, Plateosaurus will slowly turn Narcoberries in its inventory into a new item: Fermented Narcoberries. These mushy delights are twice as effective as Mejoberries for taming herbivores and unlock a variety of special consumables that can be crafted in the Plateosaurus’s inventory. These consumables include Medical Pet Brew, Energy Pet Brew, Adrenal Pet Brew, and Speed Pet Brew. Two additional special items are available: Herbivore Delight and Baby Food. Herbivore Delight buffs your tamed herbivores, giving them resistance, speed, and increased damage. Baby Food, when force-fed to a baby dino, will instantly imprint it by 30% regardless of its growth stage, this effect can only be applied once per baby.
