A standalone mod that introduces the formidable Pachycephalorex. A true omnivore that will headbutt your enemies till they fall unconscious!
𝐃𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐞
Name: Pachycephalorex
Habitat: Grasslands, Forests, Jungles...
Diet: Omnivore
Sustenance: Herbivore
Temperament: Reactive
Wild:
The Pachycephalorex embodies the essence of an ancient lineage, a realization that echoes through the wild. In this forgotten land, the past looms larger than life, revealing secrets woven into the very fabric of its existence. This creature, undoubtedly a descendant of the Pachycephalosaurus, is often found mingling with its kind, forming herds of headbutting companions. Among them, the Pachycephalorex stands out, boasting a muscular frame and an aggressive demeanor that sets it apart from other species, even those of its own kind.
Its diet has evolved alongside its surroundings, transitioning from a strict herbivore to a true omnivore. While it continues to forage on herbs and berries, it has developed a taste for meat, though it seldom hunts proactively. Instead, it thrives as a scavenger, opportunistically consuming whatever carrion it can find, relying on its surroundings to fill its belly.
In these herds, an Alpha reigns supreme — a fierce individual that thrives on asserting dominance over fellow Pachycephalorex. Curiously, this creature seems to ignore the smaller relatives of its lineage. What pressures could lead to such transformation while maintaining the mentality of a herd? The answers remain elusive, shrouded in theories pieced together by a solitary observer amidst this ancient wilderness, a stark reminder of the solitude that permeates existence here: no other human souls remain. Thus, who can dispute these truths? Reality itself shapes the narrative.
Domesticated:
Anticipation ran high before encountering a wild Pachycephalorex, but direct confrontation unveiled its formidable nature. While aggression is its immediate reaction, this simplicity can be manipulated. Trapping and calming it proved relatively straightforward, leading to success in pacifying it for guidance, albeit with some challenges.
Upon closer inspection, its robust build is daunting, possessing strength comparable to a Carnotaurus. The headbutting abilities of the Pachycephalorex surpass those of its smaller cousins; the density of its skull combined with powerful musculature makes it a force to be reckoned with. One powerful strike can send adversaries reeling, making it one of the most effective head-smackers in the wild — brutal, yet magnificent.
Ecosystem Footprint:
The existence of the Pachycephalorex raises questions that linger in the air like whispers. Its growth and adaptations seem to stem from the omnipresent threat of Tyrannotitans lurking nearby. In contrast, the Giganotosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus do not exert similar pressure on their ecosystems; their terror is palpable yet does not compel drastic evolutionary changes.
Despite its temperamental nature, the Pachycephalorex acts as a guardian, fiercely protecting its kin and ensuring that its lineage endures in a world where extinction looms ever closer. In the tangled web of this ancient land, it stands as a bulwark against the forces that threaten to extinguish its family tree, a symbol of resilience amid the relentless cycle of life and death.

𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬:
- Note 1. The mod development is "Completed";
- Note 2. This is a standalone mod, it does not require the core mod: [PTZ_00] Survival Odyssey;
- Note 3. Be aware that odd mod behaviors may occur.
- Note 4. There is no expectation that the mod will undergo significant changes, though there is potential for optimizations;
- Note 5. Originally planned for [PTZ_00] Survival Odyssey, Ark: Survival Ascended. It was created through a less demanding development process;
- Note 6. Envisioned primarily as a Pachycephalosaurus [Modded TLC], though transformed into a new vision during recent developments;
- Note 7. There are no substancial changes to animations and sounds - this could change in the future, under favorable circunstances;
- Note 9. The Pachycephalorex is originally exclusive to The Center - It was the main vision to remap pachycephalosaurus spawns with the Pachycephalorex;
- Note 10. After analyzing the vision, in standalone format, the conclusion reached was that it would cause unnecessary conflicts in a global overview. Specifically if the mod was to be loaded passively in other maps to support cluster transfers;
- Note 11. The reason that it is a spawn based on % (replacing pachycephalosaurus spawns) is due to being the Superior Alternative/Solution against the limiting personal vision and to avoid wiping pachycephalosaurus spawns completely;
- Note 12. Roadmap, goals, and plans will not be disclosed to protect my intellectual property, effort, and time dedicated to modding;
- Note 13. Documentation will be limited to the mod's page and discord server;
- Note 14. Communication can be done in Grand Odyssey;
Thank you for the attention,
