A standalone mod that introduces the walking calamity, Tyrannotitan. A massive theropod that [primarily] inhabits on The Center.
𝐃𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐞
Name: Tyrannotitan
Habitat: Mountains
Diet: Carnivore
Sustenance: Carnivore
Temperament: Hyper-aggressive
Wild:
In the desolation of these lands, the Tyrannotitan stands as an imposing remnant of a bygone age - its resemblance to the Rex is unmistakable at first, but this creature surpasses it in every terrifying way. A hulking monstrosity, built to dominate, it prowls with an almost indifferent cruelty, its mere presence a force of nature that rends the earth beneath its feet.
From the small, two-fingered arms to the familiar curve of its skull, assumptions might lead to a Rex, but moving closer, the truth reveals itself in a wave of dread. The Tyrannotitan is larger, more vicious, and far more destructive. Unlike many creatures here, it hunts not just for sustenance, but seemingly for the thrill of exerting its dominance.
It does not discriminate in its competition; everything is an enemy or prey. Fellow Tyrannotitans, smaller predators, herbivores - nothing escapes its path unscathed. With a body that demands vast quantities of meat to sustain its massive bulk, it claims entire territories as personal hunting grounds, fiercely guarding these expanses from anything that dares intrude.
Curiously, its relentless pursuit is not reliant on speed. It doesn't need to be fast. Instead, it chases with a grim certainty, wearing down prey until exhaustion sets in, sealing their fate. Perhaps its most terrifying ability is its keen sense of smell, detecting a kill from vast distances. A range of 10 to 12 kilometers around the mountains where it roams seems to be within its olfactory reach, and when a kill is made within that range, it arrives, drawn like a vulture, but far more menacing.
Domesticated:
Even in a tamed state, the Tyrannotitan remains untamable in spirit. It follows no master willingly, behaving unpredictably, as if the wild still pulses within its blood. Trying to command it is an exercise in futility - it does as it pleases, and the consequences of pushing it too far are severe.
This is not an animal that bends to will easily. It thrives on chaos, and when mistreated or neglected, it lashes out violently, often with catastrophic results. Memories of the destruction it caused in previous encounters serve as a constant reminder of just how fragile any semblance of control truly is.
Yet, there is a power in it that cannot be denied. Riding one feels akin to harnessing a force of nature - like sitting atop an unsheathed weapon of mass destruction, uncertain when, or if, it will detonate. The ground shakes with every step, and while control may be an illusion, the raw, overwhelming might is very real.
Ecosystem Footprint:
The role of the Tyrannotitan in this strange ecosystem remains a puzzle. It is not commonly seen, but when it appears, everything around it feels a ripple of tension. Its arrival triggers mass panic, and smaller creatures scatter as if the air itself has become hostile.
Often, the only sign of its presence is the aftermath of its battles with other giant predators - an endless struggle for dominance. Its existence seems tied to maintaining a strange balance, though not in the usual sense. When these behemoths engage in territorial disputes, the land briefly sighs in relief as other creatures, for a fleeting moment, find a reprieve from their constant terror.
In a way, the Tyrannotitan is both destroyer and enforcer of balance. When one falls, another takes its place, continuing the relentless cycle of predation and survival that shapes the world around it.

Adds creatures:
Tyrannotitan:
- Habitat Spawn: Can be found on Mountains;
- Global Spawn: 20% chance to replace a Giganotosaurus Spawn;
- Personal Proporsal: This creature is exclusive to The Center map. It is recommended to remap Giganotosaurus spawns in the relevant Game.ini file, while also disabling it on other maps;
- Shares the [base] Rex's model, scaled to Giganotosaurus Height and with customized color regions;
- The sounds are slightly changed, even including different sounds for Roars;
- The taming mechanics/requirements are the same as the Giganotosaurus;
- The behavior and mechanics are the same as the Giganotosaurus;
- Shares stat similarities with the Giganotosaurus, exceptions are: Decreased Stamina ammount | Faster Stamina Regen | Increased Food Stat and Increased Weight stat.
Adds Consumables:
Tyrannotitan Egg
- Find wild eggs or have mate boosted Tyrannotitans.
Fertilized Tyrannotitan Egg
- Breed Tyrannotitans;
- Hatch for a baby Tyrannotitan.
Adds Saddles:
Tyrannotitan Saddle
- Crafted in the Smithy.
Tyrannotitan Tek Saddle
- Crafted in the Tek Replicator;
- Unlocked with [Tek Rex Saddle].
Adds Tributes:
Tyrannotitan Heart
- Obtainable by killing wild Tyrannotitans;
- Alternative to Giganotosaur Heart.
Adds Cosmetics:
Tyrannotitan Chibi
- Obtainable by killing wild Tyrannotitans;
- Common - Low than 10% chance to drop.
𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬:
- Note 1. The mod development is "Completed";
- Note 2. This is a standalone mod, it does not require the core mod: [PTZ_00] Survival Odyssey;
- Note 3. Be aware that odd mod behaviors may occur.
- Note 4. There is no expectation that the mod will undergo significant changes, though there is potential for optimizations;
- Note 5. Originally planned for [00_PTZ] Ark Re-Evolution in Ark: Survival Evolved.
- Note 6. It was ported into [PTZ_00] Survival Odyssey, Ark: Survival Ascended. Although the assets were damaged beyond repair during the process;
- Note 7. The original Tyrannotitan utilized the old Rex model (pre-TLC), but it sustained irreparable damage during the porting process to Ark: Survival Ascended. Consequently explaining the reason why it shares the current model of the [base] Rex;
- Note 8. Features slightly lowered pitched sounds (using the [base] Rex sounds for the effect), while also including (pre-TLC) Roar sounds from the (Pre-TLC) Rex;
- Note 9. The Tyrannotitan is originally exclusive to The Center - It was the main vision to remap giganotosaurus spawns with the Tyrannotitan;
- Note 10. After analyzing the vision, in standalone format, the conclusion reached was that it would cause unnecessary conflicts in a global overview. Specifically if the mod was to be loaded passively in other maps to support cluster transfers;
- Note 11. The reason that it is a spawn based on % (replacing giganotosaurus spawns) is due to being the Superior Alternative/Solution against the limiting personal vision and to avoid wiping giganotosaurus spawns completely;
- Note 12. Roadmap, goals, and plans will not be disclosed to protect my intellectual property, effort, and time dedicated to modding;
- Note 13. Documentation will be limited to the mod's page and discord server;
- Note 14. Communication can be done in Grand Odyssey;
Thank you for the attention,
