Basic Information:

Majungasaurus spawn in Jungles, Grasslands, and Carnivore Island, and will rarely spawn on Scorched Earth in the Dunes.
Majungasaurus is typically rather slow and lumbering, and will only aggro on creatures that are very close to it. However, its heightened sense of smell allows it to detect blood from a much greater distance. It can sniff out corpses and low health players/creatures from a much greater distance.
While nearby, the scent of blood will cause the Majungasaurus to enter into a Bloodthirsty frenzy, moving at a higher speed.
Not only can Majungasaurus detect low health enemies from further away, but it can hunt them much more efficiently! Majungasaurus' damage will increase as its target's health lowers, up to a 75% increase in damage.
Because of its necrotic diet, the mouth of Majungasaurus is coated in a parasitic saliva. This can be harvested from dead Majungasaurus, or collected from tamed ones at a 5 minute interval.
Majungacorns rarely replace Majungasaurus spawns in the wild, or have a 1% chance of hatching when a Majungasaurus lays an egg. Majungacorn is purely a cosmetic change, and has identical stats to the base Majungasaurus.

Taming:

Taming a Majungasaurus is relatively straightforward. It is a standard knock out tame, however it has a high resistance to Tranquilizing darts and arrows. To circumvent this, the player must consume a parasitic saliva. This will cause the Majungasaurus to aggro onto the player, and its resistances will drop.

Abilities:

Lmb is a standard bite attack. Does ramping damage.
Rmb is a tracking bite attack. Hits twice. The Majungasaurus bites down and infests its target with its parasitic saliva, applying a special Infested debuff.
C is a stance change. It will toggle between Combat Mode and Tracking Mode. While in Tracking Mode, the Majungasaurus moves faster, consumes stamina at a slower rate, and has reduced melee damage. While in this mode, any creatures that are Infested will be visible, anywhere on the map.
Spacebar will toggle turning in place.
Ctrl/Alt-fire is a cosmetic roar
Majungasaurus' Saddle is unlocked at level 55. It can be found in Yellow and Red Cave Drops.
The Tracking Dart is also unlocked at level 55. This will apply the Infested debuff to any target that it hits, without the need to ride a Majungasaurus.

Blighted Majungasaurus:

Blighted Majungasaurus are a new unique variant that spawns in the Oil fields and Sulfur pits on Extinction. The corruption has completely consumed these creatures, resulting in massive boils of corruption growing all over their bodies.
Taming a Blighted Majungasaurus is similar to the regular Majungasaurus, however before consuming Parasitic Saliva, the player must first use a ranged weapon to pop all of the visible boils.
Blighted Majungasaurus have an inherent 2x damage boost against all corrupted creatures. They are also slightly larger, healthier, and faster than the default Majungasaurus.
In place of the cosmetic roar on Ctrl/Alt-fire, Blighted Majungasaurus have a buffing roar that grants nearby allies +50% damage to corrupted creatures.
Majungasaurus Industrial Saddle is a unique Extinction saddle unlocked at level 71. It can be found in Yellow OSD drops and can ONLY be equipped to Blighted Majungasaurus.
